Uses: Sparkolloid is a positively charged fining agent for wine, cider, mead and beer. Noted for working when other fining agents have failed. Also provides a compact sediment bed, pressing down other fining agents and increasing yield. Excellent for white and blush wines as well as mead, use only as a last resort in red wines, cider and beer.
Directions: Dissolve 1 tbsp in 1 cup (8oz) of boiling water for 5 minutes. Add mixture to 6 gallons (23L) of wine and stir gently. Allow 1 week to clear before racking or bottling. Contains: diatomaceous earth and agar alginate.
Storage: Store in a tightly sealed container in a dry environment at room temperature.
