LD Carlson oak chips add classic oak-aged character to wine, beer, cider, or mead without the need for a barrel. Oak aging contributes flavor complexity, structure, and subtle notes such as vanilla, spice, and toast.

This 4 oz package is typically sufficient for treating up to 25 gallons of wine or beer, depending on the desired oak intensity.

Available styles:

• American Oak – Light Toast: brighter oak character with mild vanilla notes
• French Oak – Medium Toast: smoother, more subtle oak with deeper complexity
