The holder features a tapered design that fits into the neck of a compatible glass vessel, while its slotted opening holds a standard 3/8" (9.5 mm) racking cane in position. This helps prevent unnecessary movement during transfers and reduces the risk of disturbing sediment settled at the bottom.

Racking Cane Length Recommendations:

• 1 Gallon Jugs: Compatible with appropriately sized 3/8" racking canes.
• 3 Gallon Carboys: Compatible with appropriately sized 3/8" racking canes.
• 5 & 6 Gallon Carboys: A 30" racking cane is recommended for proper reach and positioning. The shorter 24" racking cane is not recommended for these larger carboys when used with this holder.

How to Use: Position your 3/8" racking cane in the holder's slotted opening, then insert the assembly into the carboy neck. Adjust the cane to the desired depth before beginning your siphoning or racking process.
